Every photo you open in Picswit is saved inside the app's private storage on your own phone or computer. Picswit keeps no copy — there is no Picswit cloud holding your pictures, and nothing to leak, sell, or train on.
Because your library never leaves the device, it also works offline. If you sign in, optional Google Drive sync copies photos only into a Picswit folder in your own Drive — it is your storage, not ours.
Looks, sliders and the full-quality Auto Edit finish run on your device. When signed in, Auto Edit may send a small protected preview so AI can choose slider values; it receives no full-resolution photo and returns only numbers.
Before any AI-bound image leaves the device, Picswit hides faces and all readable writing. The masked copy is used for that request only and is not kept. If either privacy check cannot run, Picswit blocks the upload with no override.
There is no account requirement to try Picswit, no background upload, and no hidden sync. Only an AI feature you start can send pixels, and only a freshly redrawn, privacy-masked copy goes.
Guest photos are never uploaded at all.
Every photo you save or share from Picswit is written fresh, without the location, camera, and date information phones normally embed. What you share is the picture — nothing else.
The short version: on-device storage, local masking, no cloud uploads. Delete the app and everything is gone — we couldn't recover your photos even if you asked, because we never had them.
